JIAODA-Duke Chinese American Research Center Unveiled

On the morning of July 29, 2013, the opening ceremony for JIAODA-Duke Chinese American Research Center on Global Outsourcing was held in 102 meeting hall of Haoran Hi-Tech Building on SJTU xuhui campus. SJTU Vice President Xu Fei, Director of the Division for Development of Liberal Arts Jiang Hong, Dean of Antai College of Economics & Management Zhou Lin, Vice Director of Department of International Trade in Services of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce Yan Bei, Director of the Research Center Mr. Fang, Professor Liu Yi from Antai College of Economics & Management and Professor Arie Lewin from Fuqua School of Business, Duke attended the opening ceremony.
On behalf of SJTU, Xu Fei in his speech expressed his heartfelt congratulations on the foundation of the Research Center. Zhou Lin gave welcome speech. Yan Bei, on behalf of Shanghai Commission of Commerce, expressed his gratitude to the team led by the two famous professors and their efforts in the academic research of global outsourcing. Zheng Jinrong, Director of China Outsourcing Research Center, Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and Eric Rongley, Chairman of International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) Shanghai Branch as well as CEO of Bleum expressed welcome and gave a speech.
Jiaoda-Duke Chinese American Research Center for Global Outsourcing, jointly founded by SJTU Antai College of Economics & Management and Fuqua School of Business, Duke, is aimed to the research on the development and innovation of outsourcing in China and the globe.
